Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) have been working together, alongside other partners, under the Smart Systems and Heat programme (SSH). SSH aims to accelerate innovations to ensure the energy system is smart and fit for the future, supporting the Greater Manchester region’s whole system approach toward low carbon and an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable future.
We would like to invite you to our Smart Energy Partnership Event, where you will:
- learn about innovative plans and ideas;
- discover insights relating to Smart Systems and Heat programme findings;
- develop strategic partnerships for project delivery; and
- have an opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges associated with heat decarbonisation.
Come and discover the opportunities of working together:
- find out how we used local area energy system modelling to provide strategic direction for a low carbon future;
- explore how digitalisation and ‘Energy as a Service’ will be a game changer through enabling innovation, improving margins and facilitating decarbonisation;
- learn how to overcome the challenges of the heat decarbonisation and unlock these benefits by working with GMCA and ESC;
- find out about ESC’s Living Lab which gives you the opportunity to gain insight into consumer energy habits by conducting trials with more than 100 real-world homes; and
- discover how you can get involved: we are looking for partners to develop and test new ways of selling and trading energy.
